Jamie Utt
Since 2004, Jamie has been inspiring audiences all over the United States to stand up against prejudice, bigotry, and hate in all its forms. His passionate and dynamic presentations have empowered thousands to take personal accountability for making this world a better place. He offers tailored presentations on diversity and personal empowerment to middle school, high school, and college audiences.
Jamie’s signature workshop, entitled “The Wall,” helps those who take part to deconstruct what diversity means, breaking down what role race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, religion, and class play in our personal lives and in greater society. His personal stories, his passion, and his analysis of the world around us help people to find their own voice in working for a more just world.
Jamie also offers professional development for teachers on issues of diversity, helping schools to better serve students who are marginalized or bullied in the school environment.
